Apple announced today that it will provide free shipping cables for MacBook computers that use the charging port of the USB Type-C type, because some of those cables did not work properly.
The company said replacement program across the site "a limited number of charging cables from USB Type-C special type of MacBook computers that were included with those devices since the month of June 2015 failed because of a design problem."
The company added, "As a result, the computer your MacBook may not be charged or may be charged intermittently when plugged into the power adapter cable across the aggrieved."
Users will receive the company who supplied their email addresses when they register a new MacBook computers cables by the end of this month, if they are eligible for the replacement Kablatthm.
